Attack of the Dead Men

Attack of the Dead Men is a 2D Action-Defense-Shooter homage to the popular 2008 game “The Last Stand 2” by Con Artist Games, which attempts to replicate the old flash game aesthetic and give it a new shine. The player explores an alternate historical reality of the First World War, reflecting the disturbing and dark atmosphere of this part of human history.

The player takes on the role of a German sergeant who has lost all his comrades after a catastrophically failed attack attempt on a Russian fortress and is now being pursued by zombie-like people infected with chlorine gas. On his way to the nearby telegraph station, the player must fight his way through various locations, first defending himself and his barricade from attacking hordes of zombies every night and then searching for new weapons and supplies during the day.

If the player does not manage to reach the telegraph pole in time to warn his comrades, the supply battalion deployed parallel will unknowingly launch a suicide mission, thus nullifying the player's entire effort.
